Wood's Photography Co

I'm Matthew, the photographer behind Wood's

How Wood's came to be

[Your story goes here, Matthew] I started Wood's because I kept noticing the same thing: the photos people actually love aren't the stiff studio poses. They're the relaxed, in-between moments, captured somewhere that already feels like home. That's the whole idea behind bringing the studio to you.

The secret is getting to know each other first

Your experience matters as much as the photos

Before we book anything in, we'll have a quick chat or a call to get to know each other. It helps to talk through your space, your family (or your pet's quirks), and what you're hoping to capture, so the session itself feels easy and unhurried.

Work with Me

I know how much you want to hold on to every second

Our little ones always grow up too fast

I know how much you want to hold on to every second

It feels like only yesterday your little one arrived, and somehow they're already crawling, then walking, then running everywhere. Time doesn't slow down, but a good photo lets you come back to a moment years later and feel exactly what it was like.

Trust takes vulnerability

It takes trust to let someone new into your home and spend time with your family, or your pet. We'll usually chat beforehand to build a bit of rapport and talk through what the day will look like. It helps everyone relax once the camera comes out, and it's exactly why the resulting photos feel so genuine.
